One of the things the “pros” do not tell the newcomers is that it can be really messy to fill your own cartridge with e-Juice (liquid nicotine). It is also difficult to get the right amount. In addition, liquid nicotine needs to be firmly secured away from ANY small children or pets. Large doses are poisonous! The electronic cigarette may be considered safe to use compared to a regular tobacco cigarette simply because there is no combustion (fire) or burning of any products. Burning, unattended regular cigarettes are a leading cause of home fires.
